If you are a marathon runner and want to try something extra challenging, The Race to Robie Creek might be what you’re looking for. Billed as the toughest half marathon in the Northwest, the race is about 13 miles, including an eight-mile climb to 4,797-foot Aldape Summit and a steep, five-mile descent. The race has been held each spring for the past 23 years and includes around 3000 walkers and runners. This year the race will be held on April 19th. If you haven’t signed up yet for this year’s event, you’re too late. But plan to sign up early next year and participate in this grueling event.
