Idaho AG Publishes Free Self-Help Handbooks for Homeowners/Buyers

The Idaho Attorney General’s office announced today two new free publications – one to help struggling homeowners facing foreclosure and one for home buyers. The two publications are available on the AG’s website.

“Foreclosure Prevention and Foreclosure Scams: How to Tell the Difference” was designed to help homeowners who are facing foreclosure learn about the foreclosure process and how to get free assistance with loan modification and other federal programs currently available. The brochure is also designed to help homeowners identify and avoid current foreclosure scams.

“Buying A Home” is a brochure designed to help home buyers through the home buying process. It provides information about preparing to purchase a home, the loan process and how to get the appropriate loan, disclosures and other federal and state laws which help protect the home buyer.
