Boise Crime Rate Dropping

Good news for residents of the City of Trees. According to a press release from the Boise Police Department, Boise City’s crime rate, adjusted per 100,000 population, has dropped 37% over the past decade including an 8% drop between 2006 and 2007.

More specifically, the number of burglaries is as low as it’s been in the past 30 years – since 1975 – and nearly all violent crimes, when adjusted for the city’s population growth, are down significantly over the past decade.
