Free Fishing Day in Idaho

Idaho fly fishermanTime to round up the kids and grab your rod and reel and head out to Idaho’s waterways. Tomorrow, Saturday June 9th, is Free Fishing Day in Idaho. Don’t worry if you don’t have a fishing license. Idaho’s Department of Fish and Game is inviting all fishermen and potential fishermen – both resident and non-resident – to try their luck in Idaho’s rivers, lakes, ponds, any fishing hole! Although the license restriction has been lifted for the day, other rules remain in place. So if you’re not familiar with bag limits and tackle restrictions you might visit Fish & Game’s website to check the rules and restrictions for the waterway where you plan to fish.

You might just bring home a whopper!
